Photostory - Art and Craft Quilling

This is a photostory that was created as an introduction to a craft lesson in the area of QUILLING.  Quilling is an ancient artform in which the shaft of a feather was used to curl papyrus, hence the name quilling. This is an excellent form of reusing paper to produce beautiful ornaments which can be given as gifts. The lesson is geared towards a standard three class.

The objective: The pupils of the standard three Art and Craft class will be able to create a quilled flower by cutting strips of paper, coiling them and gluing them together, given sheets of green yellow and red paper.
